He was born on 25th June, 1971 to Shri Suddala Jagan Mohan Rao and Smt. S.Vidya Kumari, who hail from an Agricultural family at Bondugula (V), Rajapet (M), erstwhile Nalgonda District, but settled at Jangaon Town and District (erstwhile Warangal District). His father, Shri Suddala Jagan Mohan Rao, completed his Law Graduation from Osmania University in the year 1966-1967, was a Gold Medalist in ‘Transfer of Property’ Laws, enrolled and practiced for a short while in High Court of A.P., and mother a Homemaker. He is the youngest in the family among four brothers and three sisters. His elder brother Shri S.K.Rama Rao retired as Public Prosecutor/Joint Director of Prosecutions, Telangana. He got married to Smt. Thotapally Prasanna Laxmi and blessed with two sons S.Sreeram Krishna and S.Sreesh Krishna. He has completed his schooling from Sri Aurobindo School, Jangaon Town. He did his Law Graduation from Pendekanti Law College, Osmania University and enrolled as an Advocate in Andhra Pradesh Bar Council on 26th March, 1998. Joined the Office of Shri Y.Rama Rao, Advocate and continued till 2007. Thereafter practiced independently and has dealt with various cases in Criminal Law, Civil Law and Constitution cases in the High Court of composite Andhra Pradesh and High Court of Telangana. Also practiced in the trial Courts in and around Hyderabad. He was Standing Counsel for State Bank of Hyderabad (Till merger with State Bank of India), various private companies and also was a Panel Counsel for Scrutiny Meetings for “All India Council for Technical Education” for all over Bharath. He was also Standing Counsel for Professor Jayashankar Agriculture University, Hyderabad from 2022-2024. Has served as Secretary for the composite State High Court Bar Association 2012-13 and Vice-President from 2019-2021 for Telangana High Court Advocates’ Association. He was elevated as a Judge to the High Court of Telangana and sworn-in as such on Thursday, 31st July, 2025.
