Hon’ble Sri Justice M.Venkateswara Reddy was born on 1st June, 1945 at Pedaogirala village in Krishna District in an agricultural family. Studes B.Sc in Andhra Layola College, Vijayawada. Obtained Law Degree and P.G. Diploma in Cooperation and Rural Studies from Andhra University. Obtained first rank at final year B.L., examination and second rank in P.G. Diploma in Cooperation and Rural Studies. Won several prizes in essay writing at collegiate and university level. Enrolled as an Advocate on 20-04-1970. Joined the Chambers of Justice A.Venkatrami Reddi and E.Manohar, associated with Justice A.Venkatrami Reddi till his Lordship became District Munsif. His Lordship was also associated with Sri D.Venkat Reddy, the then Government Pleader, High Court of Andhra Pradesh for three years. Appointed as District Munsif in August, 1976. Promoted as Subordinate Judge in July, 1983. Promoted as District and Sessions Judge, Grade-II, in July, 1990. Promoted as District and Sessions Judge, Grade-I, on 03-11-1997. Deeply interest in Indian Philosophy, Culture, Sanskrit and Telugu literature and spirituality. He is sworn in as an Additional Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court on 26-05-2005 F.N. Appointed as a Permanent Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on 20-02-2006 F.N. Retired as Judge on attaining the age of superannuation on the forenoon of 01-06-2007.
