Hon’ble Sri Justice G. Bikshapathy was born on 3rd May 1943 at Karmanghat village formerly in Hyderabad District of Andhra Pradesh, India. After passing Matriculation he completed Diploma in Commerce in 1962. Thereafter, he entered the Government Service and worked for 13 years in various departments. While in Government service he prosecuted further studies in Evening College. He passed B.Com., and thereafter he joined Evening Law College. After passing LL.B. obtained Master Degree in Labour Laws. Joined Advocate profession in June 1975. He extensively dealt with Labour and Service matters. Number of cases in which he appeared have been reported in All India Journals. He is ardent supporter of cause of weaker sections. Member of Lions club. He conducted cases on behalf of number of Trade Unions both State and National level. He was legal Advisor to number of Government and Private undertakings. He was a government Pleader in the High Court for a short spell. He is Member of International Jurists Organisation and World Jurists Organisation. He participated in International conferences and Labour Laws conducted by the Law Asia and International Jurists Organisation. Delivered Lectures at the Administrative Staff College of India to the participants in Trade Union field. Organised Seminars on the subjects on national and international importance. He was elevated to the Constitutional Post as Judge of A.P. High Court on 2nd May 1995. Delivered number of important judgments on constitutional and Service matters which are reported in All India Journals. He also attended Rajayoga meditation programme for one week at Mt. Abu conducted by Brahma Kumaris’ Institution. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on 2.5.1995 and Judge w.e.f.16.01.1997. His Lordship retired from the service on attaining the age of Superannuation w.e.f. 03-05-2005.
