HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE V. PARTHASARATHI

Hon’ble Sri Justice V. Parthasarathi was born on 06.03.1910. Took his B.A., Degree in Economics from Government Arts College, Rajahmundry standing first in the University. Took his Law Degree from the Madras Law College, and joined the Chambers of Sri prattipati Satyanarayana Rao. Duly profited by his contacts with the then Stalwarts of the Bar including late Sri V. Govindaraja Chari and established a lucrative practice, having enrolled as an Advocate of Madras High Court on 11.8.1932. Was a Legal Advisor to several institutions including the Life Insurance Corporation of India. Practised till 1954 at Madras and later at Guntur till 1956 and from 1956 at Hyderabad. Made his mark in other fields of Human endeavour, particularly Co-operation, Banking and Insurance. Was the Director of Andhra Bank from 1961 to 1967. He was a director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South India Co-operative Insurance Society. Was President of the Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocates Association Co-operative Society. Was appointed as a Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court from 5th April, 1968. Retired on 6.3.1972.
