Hon’ble Sri Justice S.H.Sheth was born on 5th January, 1919, educated at G.S.P.A.V.School, Vijapur, District Mehsana; Fellowship High School, Ahmedabad. Gujarat college, Ahmedabad, Dharmendra Sinhji college, Rajkot. L.D.Arts College, Ahmedabad, University School of Economics and Sociology, Bombay, Sir Lallubhai A.Shah Law College, Ahmedabad, Government Law college, Bombay. Enrolled as an Advoate of the Bombay High Court on 28th January, 1946. Practised on the Civil and Criminal side in the High Court at Bombay and in the Gujarat High Court. Appointed as Additional Judge of the Gujarat High Court for a period of two years with effect from 23-4-1969. Appointed permanent Judge on 5-8-1970. Transferred to Andhra Pradesh High Court with effect from 24-6-1976. Retransferred from the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to Gujarat High Court with effect from 13-9-1977. Retired on 5-1-1981.
