Hon’ble Sri Justice Sharfuddin Ahmad was born on 4th January, 1909. Educated at Residency Middle School City Intermediate College, and Nizam’s College, Hyderabad and Aligarh University. Joined Judicial Service in former Hyderabad State as Munsif magistrate on 26.7.1931. Worked as Sub-Judge, District Magistrate, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, President, special Tribunal, Deputy Secretary, Home and as Chief Electoral Officer. District Judge from 1st April 1951. Worked as Special Officer and Registrar for about 1 ½ years in former Hyderabad High Court and then posted as District Judge in 1953. Appointed as Addl. Judge, High Court of Andhra Pradesh for 2 years w.e.f. 27.6.1960. Re-appointed as Additional Judge for another 2 years from 27.6.1962. Permanent Judge from 12.2.1964. Retired on 14th January, 1971.
