Hon’ble Sri Justice R. Ramanujam was born on 6th June, 1941 in an agricultural family in the village Burugagudem of Reddigudem Mandalam, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, India. Had his school education in S.R.R. High School, Nuzvid and College education from C.R.R. College, Eluru. Obtained Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Law Degree from Nagpur University. Called to the Bar on 22.8.1966. Joined the Chambers of Sri T. Anantha Babu, Ex-Advocate General of A.P. High Court and was associated with him for over a decade. Established himself as a leading Lawyer in Arbitration and Service matters. He was the Standing Counsel for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, a Standing Legal Adviser to the A.P. State Electricity Board and Panel Advocate for the A.P. High Court. Appointed as Additional Judge, High Court of A.P., on 17.5.1999 and as Judge w.e.f. 20.4.2000.Sworn as Lokayukta on 12th July, 2002.
