THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.S. NARAYANA

Hon’ble Sri Justice Pemmasani Sankara Narayana popularly known as P.S.Narayana was born on 13th July 1948 at Chinthakalva village near Tirupati, a holy town in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, India. He had his early elementary education at Tiruthani and Karvetinagar and High School education at P.M. High School, Renigunta. He had obtained his B.Sc., degree from S.V. Arts College, Tirupati and obtained his B.L. Degree from S.V. University College, Tirupati. He did M.A. Post graduation degree in Public Administration. Enrolled as an Advocate on 10th October 1973 originally on the Rolls of Bar Council of Madras. Initially he had practiced for about a decade at Tirupati in Chittoor District. He had the privilege of working as a Junior Advocate in the Chambers of Sri Balamuri Radhakrishnaiah and Sri Madabhushi Krishnaswami the two leading advocates of Tirupati Bar who are no more, for some time and then began his independent practice at Tirupati and shifted his practice to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. He was commanding a good volume of work in Civil and Criminal cases while practising at Tirupati. After shifting to Hyderabad he had commenced his practice as an independent professional and within a short time he commanded a good volume of work in all branches of law like Constitution, Civil Criminal etc., and he has been an income tax assesse for the last five years. He was also a panel advocate of the Andhra Pradesh High Court Legal Services Committee. Apart from this he had worked as Chief Editor of Andhra Weekly Reporter and also Andhra Law Times (Criminal) for some time and he was also the honorary editor of Andhra Law times till recently. He had delivered several lectures relating to different aspects at Judicial Academy and also at different academic institutions on their invitation. He had contributed several articles on different aspects of law to several Law Journals like Andhra Weekly Reporter, Supreme Court Journal, Madras Law Journal (Criminal), Andhra Law Times, Andhra Law Times (Criminal) and also several other Law journals.He had contributed about fifty books to the Legal Literature.

Elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and sworn-in on 25th June 2001 and appointed as permanent Judge on 31.07.2002 F.N. Retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 12.07.2010 A.N.
