HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE M. JAGANNADHA RAO

Hon’ble Sri Justice M. Jagannadha Rao was born on 2.12.1035 at Rajahmundry in a well reputed family of Lawyers. Passed B.Sc.(Hons.), LL.B. enrolled as an advocate in the year 1960. Practised in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh for 22 years. Initially worked as apprentice in the chambers of his late father Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao and later associated with his father’s brother late Justice M. Krishna Rao. Appointed as Addl. Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 29.9.1982. Appointed as permanent Judge on 29.11.1982. Appointed as Chief Justice of Kerala High Court on August 1991. Appointed as Chief Justice Delhi High Court on March, 1994. Appointed as Judge of Supreme Court of India on 23.3.1997. retired as Judge of Supreme Court of India on 2.12.2000.
