Hon’ble Sri Justice K. Ramachandra Rao was born on 5.7.1922. Took his early education from Noble High School and Hindu College High School, Machilipatnam, Krishna District. Took his B.A. Degree from Loyola College, Madras and the Law Degree from Law College, Madras in 1943. Did his apprenticiship under Sri P.V. Rajamannar and Sri Koka Subba Rao. Enrolled as an Advocate in Madras High Court on 30th October, 1944 and as an Advocate, Supreme Court in 1953. Held various offices as Editor, Indian Law Reports, Standing Counsel for the Central Government, Legal Adviser to the Food Corporation of India and A.P. State Mining Corporation prior to his elevation to the Bench. He was also a member of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh.
Appointed as Judge of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 21.8.1968.
