Hon’ble Sri Justice Iyyapu Panduranga Rao was born on 1.7.1931 at Palakol, West Godavari District. Passed B.A., B.L. Graduate in the year 1954 from the Bheemavaram College at Bheemavaram, West Godavari District. Law degree from Andhra University, Waltair in the year 1956. Enrolled as an advocate in the year 1957. Practised at Narasapur and other Courts in West Godavari district till 1962. Selected as District Munsif in the year 1962. Promoted as Subordinate Judge in 1971. Promoted as District Judge – Grade-II in the year 1975. District and Sessions Judge Grade I in the year 1984. Appointed as Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 16.3.1990. Retired on 1.7.1993.
