Hon’ble Sri Justice C.V.N. Sastri was born on 02.07.1938 at Eluru, West Godavari District. Passed B.A., LL.B, obtained B.A. degree from Andhra University and Law degree from Banaras Hindu University. Enrolled as an advocate in the year 1967 and set up practice at Eluru, West Godavari District for 10 years and shifted to High Court in 1972. He had the advantage of a solid grounding in Civil law by reason of his practising on the Original Side. He made his mark and was chosen as a Government Pleader in 1991 and served as such till December, 1994. Elevated as permanent Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 02.05.1995. Retired on 02.07.2000.
