Born on 1.7.1951 in Tangutur, Banaganapally Village, Kurnool District and had School Education in Zilla Parishad High School, Banaganapally, Kurnool District. Passed Village Karanam and Village Munsif tests in December 1969. Studied B.A. in S.S. & N. College, Narasaraopet Guntur District and obtained Law Degree from Andhra University in the year 1976 and LL.M from Kakatiya University, Warangal in the year 2006. Enrolled as an advocate on 26.7.1976 and practiced at Kurnool and Nandyal. Appointed as District and Sessions Judge, Grade-II in 1.5.1990 and promoted as District & Sessions Judge, Grade-I on 5.5.1997 and worked as District & Sessions Judge, Prakasam Distrct at Ongole, E.G. District at Rajahmundry, Rangareddy District at Saroornagar, as Registrar A.P. Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, Member Secretary of A.P. State Legal Services Authority, Director of Prosecutions, Hyderabad and Metropolitan Sessions Judge, at Hyderabad. Elected as General Secretary of A.P. State Judicial Officers Association during 1992 to 1995. Elevated as Additional Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on 2.12.2002. Sworn in as Judge of High Court of A.P. w.e.f. 02.08.2004. Retired on attaining the age of superannuation on the afternoon of 30.06.2013.
