Hon'ble Sri Justice B. Subhashan Reddy was born on 2nd March 1943 in a Philanthrophic Bollampalli family of Bagh Amberpet in Hyderabad Urban Taluk of Andhra Pradesh, India.His School education was at the Sultan Bazar and Chadarghat High Schools, Hyderabad and college education at New Science College and degree in Science from Osmania University College of Science. He studied Law at the University College of Law, Osmania University and was enrolled as Advocate on 10 January, 1966. During the High School days and also while he was studying in the Colleges, Justice Reddy was taking keen interest in games and sports. He was particularly proficient in Foot ball and Hockey.
As an Advocate Justice Reddy has been commanding extensive practise covering all branches of Law: Constitutional, Civil, Criminal, revenue, Taxation etc., and has appeared before all forums: the Supreme Court of India, the High Court, Civil and Criminal Courts, Tenancy Tribunals etc., both on the original and appellate sides.Justice Subhashan Reddy is well-read and is an eminent Advocate with outstanding merit. He is one of the leading legal practitioners in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
His father, Sri B. Aga Reddy, is known for his honesty and sincerity and rendered distinguished service as Examiner of the Accounts Jagir Administration in the erstwhile State of Hyderabad.Justice Subhashan Reddy is interested in Music and Literature ancient and modern. He likes Poetry of Sri Sri. He is having collections of recordings of the veterans of the past, like K.L. Saigal and Pankaj Kumar Mallik of North and Ghantasala of South.
Elevated as Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court on 25th November, 1991. He was transferred to Tamil Nadu High Court on 11th September, 2001.
