Hon’ble Sri Justice B.P.Jeevan Reddy, was born on 14th March, 1932, educated at Middle School, Kamareddy, Chaderghat High School, Hyderabad, Chaderghat College, Arts College, Osmania University. Took his Law Degree from Law College, Osmania University. Enrolled as an Advocate of the Hyderabad High Court on 08.08.1955. Practised on the formation of Andhra Pradesh State. Author of a Book ‘Modern Power Politics’ published by Orient Longman and company. Appointed as an Additional Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh for two years from 17.07.1975, and appointed as permanent judge on 28.01.1978 and he was appointed as Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, later elevated to Supreme Court as Judge. Now, presently working as a Chairman, Law Commission of India, New Delhi.
