Hon’ble Sri Justice A.D.V. Reddy was born on 15th December, 1911. Educated at Voor-hees College, Vellore, Loyola College, Madras, Law College, Madras. University College, London. Lincoln’s Inn., London. Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Madras on 21.9.39. Partner of Row & Reddy, Advocates, Madras. Did Civil, Original and Appellate side work of all types and Criminal appeals. Appointed as Presidency Magistrate, Madras on 27.9.1946. Worked as Subordinate Judge from 1.10.1955. Worked as District and Sessions Judge from 8.8.1956 to 21.8.1967 during which period he acted variously as Chairman, Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal. Chairman, Disciplinary Proceedings Tribunal, Registrar, High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Member and Secretary to the State Law Commission. Appointed as Additional Judge of the High court of Andhra Pradesh with effect from 21.8.1967 until the date on which High Court of Andhra Pradesh closed for summer vacation during the year 1968. Reappointed for two years from 29.4.1968. Appointed as permanent Judge on 27.9.1969 A.N. Retired on 15th December, 1973.
