Hon’ble Sri Justice N. Kumarayya was born on 15th June, 1909. Educated at Middle School, Karimnagar, High School, warangal and Osmania University, Hyderabad. Joined Hyderabad Civil Service on 26th July, 1931. Appointed as Munsif Magistrate on 10.1.1935, Additional District Magistrate on 17.6.1943, district Magistrate on 2.2.1946 and Sessions Judge on 28.10.1948.
Appointed as Judge of Hyderabad High Court on 18.8.1955. Reappointed as Additional Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh from 19.11.1956. Appointed as permanent Judge of this High Court with effect from 22-10-1957. A.N.
Appointed Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh with effect from 1.8.1969. Retired on 15th June, 1971.
